On April 30, 2009, H. E. Mr. Song Zhe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Head of the Mission of the People's Republic of China to the European Communities had a meeting with Odile Quintin, DG for education of the European Commission. The two sides exchanged views on the advancement of China-EU educational, language and cultural cooperation, believing that against the financial crisis, it is all the more important to strengthen such cooperation and promote the development of China-EU relations.
