H.E.Mr. Yang Youming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, called on the Honourable Gary Hunt, Minister of sport and Youth Affairs on Jan. 6, 2010.

Minister Hunt expressed his warm welcome to Ambassador Yang and made a brief introduction about what the Government of Trinidad and Tobago plans to do in strengthening exchanges with China in the sport field. He said that Trinidad and Tobago is willing to further promote cooperation in sport with China.

Ambassador Yang thanked Minister Hunt for his meeting and said that China is willing to actively explore the potential of cooperation with Trinidad and Tobago in sport and other fields, so as to continue to push forward the bilateral relations.
