H.E. Mr. Yang Youming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Trinidad and Tobago, called on the Honourable Kennedy Swaratsingh, Minister of Public Administration on Jan. 12, 2010.

Minister Swaratsingh extended his warm welcome to Ambassador Yang and expressed his satisfaction about the development of the relationship between T&T and China, and exchanged views with Ambassador Yang on bilateral cooperation in the fields of information technology and telecommunications between China and Trinidad and Tobago.

Ambassador Yang thanked Minister Swaratsingh for his meeting and expressed the willingness of the Chinese side to work together with Trinidad and Tobago to explore more opportunities for expanding cooperation in the fields of information technology and telecommunications, and to further stengthen the relationship between China and Trinidad and Tobago.
