Ambassador Yang Youming talks about bilateral relations and offers greetings to People of Trinidad and Tobago

H. E. Mr. Yang Youming, Chinese ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, recently held an interview with Mr. Anthony Wilson, Editor in Chief of Guardian.

When talking about bilateral relations, Ambassador Yang said that China and Trinidad and Tobago enjoy a healthy and steady relationship with fruitful cooperation in every field. China deeply appreciates the firm stand of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago on One China policy. He congratulates Trinidad and Tobago on its remarkable achievement in the development of the country. He said that Trinidad and Tobago is an important country in the Caribbean region and China values its relations with the country. As ambassador, he believes that there is great potential for the further development of bilateral relations and he is sure that in his tenure of office, he will be able to witness the further expansion and deepening of cooperation of equality and mutual benefit in every field between the two countries.

Ambassador Yang also took the opportunity to offer his sincere greetings through Guadian to its readers and to the people of Trinidad and Tobago. He said, the calendar New Year is over, and China's lunar New Year of Tiger, which coincides with the local Carnival, is approaching. He wishes to send his festive greetings to the local Chinese community as well as the people of Trinidad and Tobago, wish everyone a happy holiday and a prosperous New Year.
