On November 5, 2008, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Jieyi met with Antonio Maria Costa, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Both sides exchanged views on enhancing cooperation between China and UNODC in the field of combating drugs and transnational organized crime.
