Dai Bingguo Meets with Vietnamese Vice Foreign Minister

On September 25, 2008, Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo met in Zhongnanhai with visiting Vietnamese Vice Foreign Minister Vu Dung. The two countries' leaders decided to establish the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership not long ago, Dai recalled, stressing that this was a new opportunity to boost ties. China is ready to join with Vietnam to promote the healthy and stable development of the relations, he told Vu Dung. On September 24, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei held talks with Vu Dung.
