On October 25, 2008, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with ROK Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan, who is accompanying ROK President Lee Myung-Bak for the 7th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM). Both sides exchanged views on China-ROK relations, as well as international and regional issues of common concern.
