Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Liu Jianchao announces: At the invitation of Australian Governor-General Michael Jeffrey and Prime Minister John Howard, President Hu Jintao will pay a state visit to Australia and attend the 15th APEC Economic Leaders' Informal Meeting to be held in Sidney from September 3 to 9.
