Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Jiang Yu announces:

At the invitation of the Chinese Government, African Union(AU) Commission Chairperson, H.E. Jean Ping will pay a visit to China from September 7 to 11.

During H.E. Jean Ping’s visit, Premier Wen Jiabao and State Councilor Dai Bingguo will meet with him respectively. Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will co-chair the second China-AU Strategic Dialogue with him. The two sides will exchange views on China-AU relations and international and regional issues of common interest.
