Q: On the night of September 20, a suicide bombing attack at the Marriot Hotel in Islamabad, Capital of Pakistan, killed more than 60 people and left more than 200 injured. Do you have any comment?

A: China condemns this terrorist attack. We express deep condolences to the victims and extend sincere solicitude to the bereaved families and wounded.

China opposes terrorism of any kind. As a friendly neighbor and all-weather friend, China will as always firmly support the unremitting efforts of the Pakistani Government and people to maintain stability.
