On Mary 12, the information department consultation of foreign ministry of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states was held in the SCO secretariat in Beijing and hosted by Liu Jianchao, Director-General of the Information Department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Delegates discussed related topics and agreed that the government and media of SCO member states should make joint efforts to raise the understanding of the public of SCO member states and the international community about the organization and its contribution to regional peace, development and stability and promote the "Shanghai spirit" more actively.
