The Costa Rican government expressed deep sympathy and solicitude to the Chinese government and people over the recent snow havoc in southern parts of the country, the Costa Rican foreign ministry said in a statement. The Costa Rican government appreciated the strong will of the Chinese government and its people to tide over the disaster, expressing belief that the Chinese people will surely win the final victory in the fight against the bad weather, the statement said.
