On April 30, the China-Malaysia Readers Forum on the English Edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volume V), organized by the State Council Information Office of China, China International Communications Group (CICG), and the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, was held in Kuala Lumpur. Present to speak were Mr. Chang Bo,President of CICG; H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing and Malaysia’s guests including  Dr. Johari Abdul, the Speaker of the House of Representatives; Minister of Transport, Loke Siew Fook, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Language and Literature, Dr. Mohd Anuar Rethwan; with around 200 participants from various sectors such as think tanks, publishing houses, the media, and chambers of commerce from China and Malaysia.

Ambassador Ouyang said, Xi Jinping: The Governance of China showcases China’s vibrant practices in building a modern socialist country in all respects, serving as an important window for the international community to understand China in the new era, as well as a strategic guidance for China and Malaysia to jointly advance the building of a high-level strategic Malaysia-China community with a shared future. China stands ready to work with Malaysia to further deepen the alignment of development strategies, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning on governance experience, and continuously deepen and solidify bilateral cooperation across various fields, so as to better benefit peoples of both countries.
