China commends Cuba for its unwavering resistance to power politics and its steadfast defense of state sovereignty and national dignity. China will continue to steadfastly support the Cuban people's just struggle against external interference and blockade. China is ready to deepen cooperation with Cuba in various fields to help strengthen Cuba's capacity for independent development.

Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla said that Cuba and China enjoy profound friendship. Regardless of the changes in the international landscape, the two sides have always firmly supported each other and have walked together on the path of socialism. He expressed gratitude for China's longstanding trust and assistance to Cuba. The two sides also exchanged views on strengthening BRICS cooperation and cooperation between China and Latin America and the Caribbean countries.
