On October 8, 2022, Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng met with Senior Advisor of the U.S. Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Scott Kennedy. They exchanged views on China-U.S. relations and issues of common concern. Xie Feng encouraged scholars from think tanks of the two countries to strengthen their contacts and carry out more communication and exchanges, so as to play a positive role in enhancing mutual understanding between China and the United States and bringing China-U.S. relations back to the sound and stable track.
