On December 13, 2017, Vice Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang met at request with the delegation of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) consisting of former Director of the East Asia Policy Office for the Secretary of Defense Michael McDevitt, former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Evans Revere, former Chairman of the American Institute in Taiwan Raymond Burghardt and others of the United States (US). Both sides mainly exchanged views on China-US relations, the Taiwan question, the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue and other topics.
