On January 9, 2018, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui met at request with the delegation of the United States (US) Chamber of Commerce consisting of Executive Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce Myron Brilliant, former Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez of the US, former Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs Stephen John Hadley of the US and former Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides of the US. The two sides exchanged views on China-US relations and economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
