On the afternoon of September 27, 2025, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council returned to Beijing by chartered plane after attending the general debate of the 80th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly and related high-level events.

Upon leaving New York, Premier Li was seen off at the airport by Permanent Representative of China to the UN Fu Cong, Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng, and Chinese Consul General in New York Chen Li, among others.
