On November 18, 2025, Special Envoy for Pacific Island Countries Affairs of the Chinese Government Qian Bo had a group meeting with participants who are in China for the fourth training course for diplomats from Pacific Island countries. Qian Bo introduced the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and shared China's development experience. Both sides also had in-depth exchanges of views on China's relations with Pacific Island countries and issues of common concern.
