On February 14, 2019, Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Hanhui accepted the jubilee medal "20 years of Astana" awarded by the Kazakh government in Beijing, and exchanged views with Kazakh Ambassador to China Shakhrat Nuryshev on China-Kazakhstan relations, cooperation in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and other topics.
