On October 9, 2019, Director-General of the Information Department of the Foreign Ministry Hua Chunying met at request with the visiting Maria Vladimirovna Zakharova, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. Both sides exchanged views on such topics as the current international situation, and press and media cooperation between the two Foreign Ministries.
