Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Syrian Issue Xie Xiaoyan Visits Russia

From December 18 to 19, 2019, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Syrian Issue Xie Xiaoyan visited Russia, during which he met with Russian President's Special Envoy on Syria Alexander Lavrentiev and Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin, exchanging in-depth views on the Syrian issue. Special Envoy Xie Xiaoyan also held discussions with experts and scholars from the Institute of the Middle East of Russia.

   

During his stay in Russia, Special Envoy Xie Xiaoyan also gave a joint interview to Chinese and Russia media, including People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Media Group, China News Service, TASS and Russia Today.
