Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng: China-Tajikistan Friendly Cooperation Will Not Be Affected by Changes in International and Regional Situations

On September 2, 2020, Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng met with Tajik Ambassador to China Parviz Davlatzoda, who was about to leave his post. Both sides exchanged views mainly on bilateral relations.

Le Yucheng spoke highly of Parviz Davlatzoda's contributions to the development of China-Tajikistan relations during his term of office, and hoped that he will continue to follow and support China-Tajikistan friendship after returning to Tajikistan. Le Yucheng emphasized, no matter how the international and regional situations may change, the good momentum of the development of China-Tajikistan relations will remain unchanged, and the foundation of bilateral cooperation will not be shaken. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Tajik side to actively implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, comprehensively deepen bilateral cooperation in various fields, and elevate the China-Tajikistan comprehensive strategic partnership to new highs.

Parviz Davlatzoda thanked the Chinese side for offering support and convenience during his tenure in China. He spoke highly of the achievements in the development of Tajikistan-China relations, emphasized that bilateral relations are at the best in history, and stated that he will continue to contribute to promoting Tajikistan-China friendship.
