On April 20, 2021, the China-CEEC Cooperation's Year of Green Development and Environmental Protection was inaugurated in Beijing. Over 10 meetings for multilateral exchanges and promotion and symposiums will be held to explore the potential and fields of cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries in green development and environmental protection, in order to share new opportunities of green development. Secretary of the Leading CPC Members Group of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment Sun Jinlong, and Vice Foreign Minister and Secretary-General of the Secretariat for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Qin Gang attended and addressed the ceremony. A total of 100 people including officials of relevant ministries, business representatives, and envoys and diplomats from Central and Eastern European countries to China attended the event.
