Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin and Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan Hold Consultations between Chinese and Armenian Foreign Ministries

On March 4, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin and Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan held consultations between Chinese and Armenian foreign ministries in Beijing.

Liu Bin said, China and Armenia are good friends with sincere mutual trust and good partners for win-win cooperation. Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, the two sides firmly support each other's efforts to safeguard national independence, sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, and staunchly support each other's development and revitalization. China is ready to make joint efforts with Armenia to continuously deepen political mutual trust, solidly advance mutually beneficial cooperation and push forward the better and faster development of bilateral relations.

Mnatsakan Safaryan said, Armenia and China enjoy a time-honored friendship. Armenia regards developing relations with China as an important diplomatic priority. Armenia is willing to continue to abide by the one-China principle, synergize the Crossroads of Peace plan with the Belt and Road Initiative, constantly deepen practical cooperation between the two countries, strengthen coordination on international affairs, and take Armenia-China relations to a higher level.

The two sides also had an exchange of views on deepening cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
