On September 2, 2025, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council Ding Xuexiang attended the opening ceremony of the Eighth Meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Committee in Beijing and delivered a speech.

Ding Xuexiang said that China and Kazakhstan are good neighbors, good friends and good partners connected by mountains and rivers and as close as lips and teeth. President Xi Jinping held multiple meetings with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, charting the blueprint for the development of China-Kazakhstan relations and cooperation across various fields. China is ready to work with Kazakhstan to elevate the China-Kazakhstan permanent comprehensive strategic partnership to a higher level, and inject greater stability and certainty into world peace and development.

Ding Xuexiang emphasized that China and Kazakhstan, as partners on the path of modernization, should seek more convergence of interests, actively explore new models of cooperation, and work together to build a China-Kazakhstan community with a shared future that is more substantive and dynamic. He put forward four suggestions: First, further strengthen the synergy of development strategies, fully leverage the role of various China-Kazakhstan cooperation mechanisms, and strongly support and ensure the smooth and secure advancement of cooperation in all fields. Second, further enhance connectivity, continuously deepen cooperation in infrastructure and engineering construction, constantly improve cross-border cargo transport and port traffic capacity, and improve a multi-dimensional, diverse, and efficient network of connectivity. Third, further deepen trade and investment cooperation, vigorously cultivate new growth drivers in trade, and strengthen cooperation on industrial and supply chains. Fourth, forge closer bonds between the two peoples, continuously expand the depth and scope of people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between both sides, and promote greater mutual understanding and closer friendship between the people of both countries through frequent interactions.

Ding Xuexiang pointed out that the business community serves as a driving force for advancing practical cooperation between China and Kazakhstan. He expressed the hope that enterprises from both sides will continue to make good use of the important mechanism of the China-Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Committee, be brave in pioneering and innovation, deepen exchanges and cooperation, and better promote mutual reinforcement of industries, shared benefits, and parallel development between the two countries, so as to contribute more wisdom and strength to upgrading China-Kazakhstan cooperation.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in his speech that China is Kazakhstan's permanent comprehensive strategic partner. He noted that bilateral relations have been continuously strengthened and consolidated, with a very promising future. Kazakhstan supports the Belt and Road Initiative and is willing to deepen practical cooperation with China in transportation and logistics, energy, manufacturing, digital economy and other fields, so as to better achieve common development.

Before the opening ceremony, Ding Xuexiang and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took a group photo with the heads of relevant enterprises from the China-Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Committee.

The theme of this meeting is "Cooperation for a Shared Future". Nearly 500 representatives from government departments, business associations and enterprises of China and Kazakhstan attended the meeting.
