On November 14, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with Ambassador of Ukraine to China Olexander Nechytaylo.

Liu Bin stated that China and Ukraine are strategic partners. China is willing to work with Ukraine to consolidate and develop bilateral relations, and to advance cooperation in various fields.

Olexander Nechytaylo expressed that Ukraine values its relations with China and is willing to promote the development of bilateral relations on the basis of traditional friendship.

The two sides also exchanged views on the Ukraine crisis and other issues.
