On May 6, 2026, Mr. Wang Lei, Coordinator for Cyber and Digital Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, and Mr. Artur Rushanovich Lyukmanov, Director of the Department of International Information Security of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation held a new round of bilateral consultation on information security in Geneva, Switzerland. The two sides exchanged views on international landscape on cybersecurity, the impact of artificial intelligence on cybersecurity, and the Global Mechanism on ICTs in the Context of International Security.
