On September 24, 2025, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on African Affairs Liu Yuxi met with Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uganda Bagiire Vincent Waiswa. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, the implementation of the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the Global Governance Initiative, and international and regional issues of mutual interest.
