On March 29, 2022, Director-General of the Department of Arms Control of the Foreign Ministry Fu Cong and Director-General for Arms Control and Disarmament of the Ministry of Foreign Affair Mohammad Kamran Akhtar of Pakistan held a new round of consultation on arms control and nonproliferation via video link. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on the international and regional security situation and issues of common concern in arms control and nonproliferation.
