On December 3, 2019, Deputy Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Li Anrong accepted the copy of credentials presented by newly-appointed Afghan Ambassador to China Javid Ahmad Qaem. Ambassador Javid Ahmad Qaem arrived in Beijing on November 26.
