Xi Jinping Sends Congratulatory Message to Re-elected President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil

On October 27, 2014, President Xi Jinping sent message to Dilma Rousseff, congratulating on her re-election as President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

In his congratulatory message, Xi Jinping wished the Brazilian people could score new and greater achievement in the cause of national construction under the leadership of Dilma Rousseff.

Xi Jinping stressed that I attended the sixth BRICS Summit and paid a state visit to Brazil at your invitation this July, during which we attended the China-Latin America and the Caribbean Summit together. We had in-depth and fruitful talks and conducted extensive exchanges of views on China-Brazil relations and topics of common interest. We agreed to deepen China-Brazil mutually beneficial and friendly cooperation in various fields and jointly promote the international order towards a more just and reasonable direction. I attach great importance to the development of China-Brazil relations and am willing to join efforts with you to promote the China-Brazil comprehensive strategic partnership for rapid development in a continuous manner.
