On June 26 local time, President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil met with Vice Premier Wang Yang of the State Council at the presidential palace in Brasilia.

Wang Yang conveyed the kind greetings and good wishes of President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang to Dilma Rousseff. Wang Yang stated that President Xi Jinping paid a successful visit to Brazil last year and drew a blueprint for the development of bilateral relations together with President Dilma Rousseff. The visit of Premier Li Keqiang to Brazil this year injected new impetus into the practical cooperation between China and Brazil. The two sides should earnestly implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and President Dilma Rousseff by stabilizing the bilateral trade scale, vigorously promoting the two-way investment cooperation, and strengthening cooperation in key areas including production capacity, infrastructure construction, finance and agriculture, so as to further enhance the practical cooperation of the two countries. The two sides should also promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges and strengthen collaboration in international affairs.

Dilma Rousseff asked Wang Yang to convey her kind regards to President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. She said that Xi and Li's successful visits to Brazil immensely promoted the development of comprehensive strategic partnership between Brazil and China, and the effective work done by Brazil-China High-level Coordination and Cooperation Committee has also vigorously enhanced the bilateral practical cooperation. Brazil attaches great importance to the relations with China and is willing to work with China to expand trade and two-way investment, strengthen strategic cooperation in production capacity, agriculture, manufacture and infrastructure, broaden people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and enhance coordination and cooperation in multilateral mechanisms.

On the same day, Vice Premier Wang Yang and Vice President Michel Temer of Brazil co-chaired the fourth session of the China-Brazil High-level Coordination and Cooperation Committee. The two sides reached important consensus on the promotion of practical cooperation in wide fields between China and Brazil.
