On June 3, 2016, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao met with outgoing Brazilian Ambassador to China Roberto Janguaribe.

Wang Chao spoke positively of Roberto Janguaribe's work in promoting the development of bilateral relations during his tenure as Brazilian Ambassador to China, hoping that he will continue to make contribution to China-Brazil relations in the new post.

Roberto Janguaribe thanked China for its strong support during his tenure and expressed that Brazil attaches high importance to developing relations with China. He will continue devoting himself to promoting communication and cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
