On September 15, 2017, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao attended at invitation the National Day Reception marking the 207th anniversary of the independence of Chile held by Chilean Ambassador to China Jorge Heine, and exchanged views with Jorge Heine on issues of common concern including China-Chile relations.
