Vice Foreign Minister Qin Gang Meets with Outgoing Brazilian Ambassador to China Marcos Caramuru de Paiva

On November 13, 2018, Vice Foreign Minister Qin Gang met with outgoing Brazilian Ambassador to China Marcos Caramuru de Paiva.

Appreciating Marcos Caramuru de Paiva's work for promoting the development of China-Brazil relations during his tenure as Ambassador to China, Qin Gang hoped that he will continue contributing to promoting friendship between China and Brazil as well as between China and Latin America. As the new Brazilian government will take office from January 2019, the Chinese side is willing to make concerted effort with the Brazilian side to ensure the continued, sound, stable and forward-looking development of China-Brazil relations. Thanking the Chinese side for providing support and convenience during his tenure, Marcos Caramuru de Paiva spoke highly of China's development achievements, and expressed that he will, as always, pay attention to and support the comprehensive and in-depth development of Brazil-China relations. It is hoped that the sound momentum of China-Brazil relations will be continued.
