Li Keqiang said, China and Brazil are both major developing countries and emerging economies, and are each other's important cooperation partners. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, our two countries have carried out fruitful cooperation, and achieved many "firsts" in trade and other areas, particularly in Latin America. President Xi Jinping and Mr. President will hold talks, during which you will jointly plan the development of bilateral relations in the future. The Chinese side is ready to take the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to work with the Brazilian side to consolidate political mutual trust, and deepen practical cooperation to better benefit the two peoples and contribute to promoting world peace and steady development of global economy.
Li Keqiang noted, China and Brazil are each other's development opportunities. Faced with the complex international landscape and the increasing downward pressure on global economy, China is ready to work with Brazil to further expand two-way opening up and actively promote mutually beneficial cooperation in energy and other fields. We support capable and well-established Chinese enterprises in participating in the infrastructure construction of Brazil in conformity with the principle of market and business, and are willing to expand the imports of high-quality Brazilian products that suit the demand of Chinese market. We hope that Brazilian side can offer convenience for China's aquatic and other products to enter the Brazilian market. The Chinese side appreciates the Brazilian side's measures to facilitate Chinese citizens' visits to Brazil, and stands ready to expand people-to-people and cultural exchanges with the Brazilian side, and consolidate the public foundation for the friendship between the two countries. China looks forward to jointly boosting the common development of the two countries through strengthening China-Brazil cooperation on all fronts.
Jair Bolsonaro expressed, the Brazilian side attaches great importance to its relations with China. Brazil's development would not be realized without the world, or with the absence of China. The two economies are highly complementary. Brazil is opening its door wider and wider, and is ready to closely work with China, intensify bilateral cooperation and continue to be China's important cooperation partner.
