He said, this is an important initiative proposed by State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the Second Ministerial Meeting of the China-CELAC Forum and also a milestone in the development of the China-CELAC Forum mechanism. China will work with Latin America and the Caribbean to build the Cyber Secretariat into an efficient cooperation platform of the China-CELAC Forum. The delegates of the China-CELAC Forum's member countries to the meeting expressed their congratulations on the launch of the Cyber Secretariat and also their willingness to deepen exchanges and communication with China through this new platform and promote pragmatic cooperation in various fields between China and Latin America and the Caribbean. At the Meeting of National Coordinators of the China-CELAC Forum, the two sides exchanged in-depth views mainly on the preparations for the Third Ministerial Meeting of the Forum and the relations between China and Latin America and the Caribbean. Both sides agreed that the China-CELAC Forum has become the main platform for overall cooperation between China and Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Third Ministerial Meeting will be of great significance in leading the development of the relations between China and Latin America and the Caribbean and their overall cooperation in the post-pandemic era. Both sides should work together to make good preparations and ensure the success of the next year's Third Ministerial Meeting of the China-CELAC Forum.
