The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Organizes the Event "Ambassadors Face to Face with CASC"

On June 30, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council organized the ninth event "Ambassadors Face to Face with CASC" of the "Ambassadors Face to Face with State-owned Enterprises" series activities. Assistant Foreign Minister Hong Lei and General Manager of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) Zhou Jie attended the event and delivered remarks. Ambassadors to China from Namibia, Malawi, Ethiopia, Honduras, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, and more than 40 diplomats from various countries to China were present.

Hong Lei said that over the past 70 years, China's space endeavor has made leapfrog development and achieved historic accomplishments, contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to the progress of human space endeavors. The spirit of "Two Bombs, One Satellite" and the spirit of manned spaceflight have become an integral part of the spiritual pedigree of the Chinese Communists. China remains committed to conducting in-depth international exchanges and cooperation in outer space on the basis of equality, mutual benefit, peaceful use and inclusive development. China is ready to work with other countries to ensure that the development of aerospace science and technology better benefits economic and social development, and to contribute further to building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Zhou Jie said that CASC upholds the principle of win-win cooperation and has carried out extensive aerospace cooperation with global cooperative partners in sectors such as communication satellites and remote sensing satellites, helping enhance aerospace technologies and their applications and promoting economic and social development. CASC is ready to join hands with partners from countries around the world to explore the mysteries of the universe and ensure that aerospace technologies better benefit people of all countries in the world.

The diplomats visited the aerospace electronics exhibition hall and the satellite exhibition center, and held in-depth discussions and exchanges with experts. They said that China's achievements in manned spaceflight, deep space exploration, and various application satellites fully demonstrate the remarkable progress of China's scientific and technological innovation. They expressed their willingness to carry out practical cooperation with the Chinese side in the field of aerospace.
