On April 8, 2015, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Huang Ping and Director of the Department of Overseas Civil Affairs and Consular Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Christophe Bouchard of France jointly held the 3rd round of China-France consular consultations in Beijing. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on deepening China-France consular relations and cooperation, facilitating personnel exchanges, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of citizens of both sides and other issues, reaching multiple consensus.
