The Second Meeting of the APEC Business Mobility Group in 2026 was successfully held in Dalian from August 23 to 24. Approximately 60 participants, including visa and immigration officials from 20 APEC economies, as well as representatives of relevant international organizations, attended the meeting.

The meeting closely adhered to the theme of the APEC "China Year", which is "Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together". It focused on in-depth exchanges on topics such as further promoting the APEC Business Travel Card scheme, sharing policy measures and practical experiences, and jointly exploring cooperation paths to  facilitate regional personnel exchanges.

During the meeting, the People’s Republic of China; Hong Kong, China; Indonesia; the Republic of the Philippines; and Singapore jointly announced that the maximum period of stay for APEC Business Travel Card holders in the aforementioned economies would be extended from 60 days to 90 days. The specific implementation time shall be determined by the relevant economies.
