On September 20, 2022, Deputy Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Li Xiang accepted the copies of credentials respectively presented by newly-appointed Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to China Jorge Toledo Albinana and newly-appointed Swiss Ambassador to China Burri Juerg. Ambassador Jorge Toledo Albinana arrived in China on September 4, and Ambassador Burri Juerg arrived in China on September 7.
