On February 23, 2021, Assistant Foreign Minister Wu Jianghao and Managing Director for Asia and Pacific of the European External Action Service Gunnar Wiegand co-hosted a new round of consultations on Central European and Asian affairs via video link. Both sides exchanged views on the situation in Asia, regional cooperation and other hotspot issues, and agreed to maintain communication on regional affairs of common concern.
