On April 29, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Director General of the Department for Security Policy and the High North of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jon Elvedal Fredriksen at the latter's request.
