Lu Shaye stated that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, China-Croatia relations have achieved high-level development. Croatia reiterated its commitment to the one-China principle. The Croatian side regards China as an important partner, and is willing to strengthen exchanges in various fields between the two countries, deepen practical cooperation, and promote mutual benefit and win-win outcomes. The two sides also exchanged in-depth views on international multilateral cooperation as well as international and regional hotspot issues of common interest and concern.

Lu Shaye delivered a keynote speech at the Dubrovnik Forum, introducing China's development achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, emphasizing that China has always remained committed to expanding high-standard opening up and is ready to work with the EU to inject more stability, certainty, and positive energy into building an open world economy.
