On May 10, 2019, Spokesperson and Director-General of the Information Department of the Foreign Ministry Lu Kang who was attending relevant activities in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region paid a visit to Hong Kong Baptist University. During his visit, Lu Kang met President Roland Chin and Vice-President Huang Yu and actively interacted with over 150 students at School of Communication for one and a half hours to explain in details relevant national policies that are of interest to the students.

The students showed their intense interest in current international situation, national foreign policies, and other hotspot issues, and were very responsive in this discussion.
