From June 4 to 17, 2022, Director-General of the Department of West Asian and North African Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Wang Di visited the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Algeria, Türkiye and Egypt, and had in-depth communication and explored cooperation with relevant responsible officials of the foreign ministries of these countries on developing bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern. Wang Di and his delegation also headed to Russia to hold director-level consultations between the two foreign ministries on the Middle East affairs and exchange views on strengthening coordination and cooperation on Middle East affairs.
