On November 10, 2022, Special Envoy Zhai Jun of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue visited Palestine. President Mahmoud Abbas met with Zhai Jun and his delegation at his office in Ramallah. The two sides exchanged views on China-Palestine relations, the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, the Palestine question and other international and regional issues of mutual interest and concern.

During his stay in Palestine, Zhai Jun also met with Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Ziad Abu Amr.
