From November 26 to 28, 2017, Ambassador for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Li Chengwen visited Saudi Arabia. During the visit, Li Chengwen met with Undersecretary for Specialized International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdurlahman bin Ibrahim Al-Rassi of Saudi Arabia.

Both sides mainly exchanged views on preparing for the 8th CASCF Ministerial Meeting to be held in China next year, the construction of the CASCF, China-Saudi Arabia relations, regional situation and other topics.
