From July 22 to 25, 2018, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Syrian Issue Xie Xiaoyan visited Saudi Arabia. He respectively met with Undersecretary for Political and Economic Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Adel bin Siraj Mirdad of Saudi Arabia and Head of Syrian Negotiation Commission Naser al-Hariri, exchanging in-depth views on the Syrian issue.
